NO MORE AFFLICTION

Bible Reading: NAHUM 1:9

“What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”

I trust you are finding serving God exciting and a joyous thing to do. God is indeed watching over his children. I can vividly remember the portion where the psalmist says that “the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ears attend to their cry”. Psalm 34:15

I gather that we have all gone through unpalatable circumstances in our lives one way or the other, from which we have learnt how not do the same mistake over and over again.

I am certain you have been afflicted by many afflictions, some which you would not wish upon the worse enemy of your life. The psalmist says that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all, I would therefore anticipate that amongst the many afflictions of your life that the Lord has and is still delivering you from the same heretofore.

Beloved let me albeit assure you today that though the journey has been way too long without seeing any results, perhaps in the prayers that you have recently made. You have probably been asking yourself that how long will it take for me to receive my double portion? We all know how it feels like to be on the negative receiving end, perhaps your prolonged stint in the vicious circle should be more of the reason that you should consider the verdict and begin to do unto others as we would like done unto you. But let me challenge you friend that if only you can press on just another mile and take on another territory, well and truly you could live to tell the story to the next generation.

PRAYER POINTS

Lord God, I come before you today to tender my grievances. Your word promised me in the book of Psalm 34:19 that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. I come to you based on the promise of this word. I ask that you deliver me in the name of Jesus.

Every affliction of sickness in my life, I come against it by the blood of the Lamb in Jesus name .

Father Lord, every affliction of the enemy that is staged into my life to make me drift away from your presence, every affliction that the enemy wants to use as a form of distraction to sway me away from your presence, I pray that by your word, you deliver me from them all in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I pray that you will grant me the grace to be steadfast in your presence in Jesus name .

Whatever affliction that has been thrown into my life to cause me to drift away from you, I pray that by the fire of the Holy Ghost, you take it out of my life right now in Jesus name .

Every affliction of barrenness in my life, I come against it by the blood of the Lamb in Jesus name .

Lord God, every affliction of terrible sickness in my life. The sickness that has refused to exit my life despite all efforts to take it out, I pray that by your mercy and power, you will deliver me in the name of Jesus.

Christ has gone through all the pain that I may live a pleasant life. I pray that your right hand will heal me in the name of Jesus.
